Zombies. Zomboes.

Well, I and a friend were talking about zombies and I accidentally wrote "zomboe" instead of zombie and I thought it sounded like some kind of musical instrument so since then we decided we came up with a new instrument called zomboe, hahaha. Well it's sort of ugly, looks funny, but it's a fun instrument to play. There's alt-zomboe and mezzo-zomboe. Pick what you like.

This is gonna be a great year!

I feel this is gonna be a great year for me and my music friends.
I also think we gotta do things we've never done before, or things we don't usually do that often.

Dreamt of . . .

Hozier. Really. I thought it was real, I didn't want to wake up. He was guesting a tv show but he was standing beside the audience, I guess before the show and I was standing beside him and I was like...

Me: So, Hozier, how do you feel about this whole thing?
Hozier: It's incredible. I still can't believe it, really.
Me: Can imagine that. Can't wait for my turn! You see, I am releasing my EP soon.
Hozier: Really?!?! That's amazing!

Then we talked more about it, can't remember.

Chris Adlerrrrr.

I can't deny the fact that I'm a huuuge fan of Chris Adler. I just can't help my tears right now because I've just watched an interview with him and the band and he's just a hardworking and humble musician. In a way I feel like him. He's one of my biggest heroes in the drumworld.

Folk music.

"I’ll tell you one of the things I like about folk music—-it’s real. Folk musicians don’t need to make slick videos with dance routines and sexy women in skimpy outfits to make people like the music. The music stands on its own. The musicians can actually play the instruments, often to a high level of skill, unlike most of the packaged commercial acts you see today. On the other hand, it’s a kind of music that anyone can create, because there is no need for synthesizers and track sampling and all the other technological contrivances they use in popular music. Folk music isn’t “popular” because it’s not designed to appeal to the largest group of people or a particular age group or demographic. Gott nytt år!

När jag skulle åka till Stockholm och väntade på tågstationen så började en kille prata med mig, sen frågade han om jag skulle till Sthlm, sen frågade han om jag hade mobilnummer.

Satte mig på tåget, och en kille frågade om han kunde sitta bredvid mig, till slut frågade han om mitt nummer. Slutade med att vi shoppade tillsammans, och jag hjälpte honom hitta sin drömrock, hahaha.

Sen satte jag mig på ett café och en random man gjorde en thumbs up.

Nyårsafton hos min vän Emil var jättekul! Träffade många snälla o begåvade människor. Nästan alla kunde ju musik. Vi jammade och sjöng och spelade, det var jätteroligt verkligen. Blev dock för mkt vin tror jag, för jag hade minnesluckor lite grann, hahah. Hade så ont i huvet dagen efter, typ hela dagen o kvällen. :(

P.S. Kul att vi spelade in nåt random middle eastern-ish grej med sång och min röst var inte så bra då men det var helt okej XD
